AZ-Biopharm invests further in lab infrastructure.

AZ-Biopharm invested more than 50k€ and acquired an emergency power supply to secure the safe storage of our customers samples.

Earthquakes and floods are very rare in the eastern part of Germany.  Nevertheless, a recent accident to a main power supply line in another part of the city caused the loss of electricity for more than a day and would put frozen and in climate cabinets stored samples in danger. To protect our customer’s samples, we now acquired an emergency power generator, securing uninterrupted electricity supply.
Additionally, to protect our colleagues and the environment from highly active and toxic compounds we equipped our facilities for handling of these drugs with a glove box with HEPA filters.
